Offshore leaks have increased public awareness of offshore processes and how these are used by companies – both large and small. Small companies with a physical presence can do little low-risk tax avoidance at this point. Large companies in the UK have more leverage as post-Brexit investment needs will trump government revenue requirements. Digital companies are still in an advantageous tax position.
