Hamid Malik

Hamid Malik

Hamid Malik has worked as a professional technical analyst in London since 1982 and has lived through, and correctly analysed, three economic bubbles and four market manias. His approach has always been to focus on absolute returns, even when his opinions have been contrary to market dogma. Hamid has developed techniques for predicting trend reversals.

Cyclical work has been a core tenet of Hamid’s process, involving decades of close study, but it has been integrated with a common sense approach to sentiment and cross-asset money flows.

Hamid’s trading focus has been on all asset classes but especially currency pairs (major and minor), equity indexes, individual stocks, fixed income and commodities from gold to copper.
