Offshore Jurisdictions – the EU Verdict

On the 5th of December the EU published its list and grading for offshore jurisdictions. There was little surprise in the rankings this time around but with the UK outside of any EU decision-making many now expect a harsher tone in the future. Tax harmonisation is part of the next great integration thrust, pursued by core countries and the commission and leakage from fortress Europe undermines this.
